Abstract

 

In this paper we present a practical terminal-edge al-gorithm for parallel renement of tetrahedral meshes.The algorithm is based on the renement of terminalstars. Properties of the algorithm are discussed, andempirical results illustrating its performance, stabilityand scalability are included.
